Slate Coasters are an attractive way to protect your tabletop surfaces from scratches, heat, cold, or liquids. Our square coaster is hand cut to 4" x 4", and hand finished, so some variation in size and shape can occur. All of our our Slate Coasters come in sets of 4 and are finished with felt feet to protect your surfaces (unlike our serving slates - don't put these in the dishwasher or oven). This size is also excellent for butter service since you can chill them.
You can also use our Slate Coasters as a place card or note card. Use chalk or purchase our non-dusting, soapstone chalk, sold separately.

- Slateplate is the only slate servingware that is Dishwasher Safe.
- Your Slateplate can be chilled in the freezer or warmed in a warming oven (up to 200F) before serving.
